Dilhya Ross
Educator/Performer/Model

I am a Dallas-area teacher, singer, actor and model who has worked and performed throughout the United States, predominately in the Dallas/Fort Worth and New York City markets. I hold a Bachelor of Music in education from Hardin-Simmons University with state certification to teach grades PK-12. Education, for me, is not just a job; it is a gift, which I am honored to both give and receive. Currently, I am proud to run a general music program at an elementary science academy and serve as assistant director for the district Elementary Honor Choir in Grand Prairie, TX.
I have previously been a part of several other wonderful organizations, serving in various capacities from actor to music director to studio director for programs such as Manhattan, Missoula, and Dallas Children’s Theatres, Education Through Music, Kaplan K-12 and Music Place Mansfield. My favorite performance endeavors include having been a member of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Chorus and the Broadway Star Chorus for the Stephen Sondheim 75th Birthday Celebration.
Other creative achievements of note include appearances in Glamour, Ebony and Women's Health magazines and on The Today Show. Additional projects include ad campaigns for companies such as Pfizer, Verizon, Hugo Boss and JC Penney, and several Dallas area commercials.
I am currently accepting students for private lessons, ages 6 and up for piano, 11 and up for voice (readiness assessment needed), and UIL/Theory grades 6 and up. Comtact me here for more information.
